Dental Industry Meeting & Events

The Australian Dental Industry Association (ADIA) participates in and coordinates a number of domestic and international industry events and exhibitions. This dental industry events calendar will provide you with information on upcoming industry events, either organised by ADIA or allied stakeholders that may be of interest to stakeholders in the dental industry and dental professions.

This seminar covers the major and Minor contributory factors in complete denture therapy, psychological acceptance, adhesion, cohesion, viscosity, gravity, oral and facial musculature, vacuum and atmospheric pressure, rationale for denture valves in complete denture retention.

Dental trauma sadly occurs too frequently in today's fast moving society where hazards of vehicles, contact and non-contact sport, or just bad luck may cause minor or major damage to the beautiful dentitions we have come to expect in our young and many older patients. This course will consist of a number of in-depth presentations, including videos produced by the Endodontic teaching group at The University of Adelaide on a variety of topics of clinical significance.

This one day program will focus on the direct placement of composite resin for the correction of aesthetic issues ranging from misshaped or misaligned teeth to discoloured teeth. The lecture component will highlight important aspects of design. Participants will gain a better understanding of how to select shades of composite and how to manipulate and place layers of different shades of composite to produce an improved aesthetic outcome.
