ADIA Undergraduate Research Grants
This programme was established by the Australian Dental Research Foundation (ADRF) in 1980 to give undergraduate students the opportunity to experience research work. Invitations are sent out to the Dental Schools in August advising that these grants are available and students must make submissions through the Universition only and not directly to the Foundation. For further information please download:
The ADRF Directors intend $2200 each to be made available as research support at each unviversity dental school for up to three undergraduate students in dentistry or other oral health university programmes, who are accepted to participate in an approved research project. At the end of the research project a report must be completed.
The final report will be eligible to compete for the Leonard Hansen Prize, which consists of a certificate and a cheque for $500, provided that it has been submitted by the required date of 31 July and it is accompanied by certification from the project supervisors that both the research and the report thereof have been truly the work of the student, assisted only by oversight, encouragement and advice.
The ADRF is a joint initiative of the Australian Dental Industry Association (ADIA) and the Australian Dental Association (ADA) and for further information on the ADRF please send an email to adrf@ada.org.au or telephone 02 9906 4412.
