2012 ADIA Dental Industry Awards — Winners announced
The ADIA Australian Dental Industry Awards were presented by the Australian Dental Industry Association (ADIA) on 26 October 2012 during a gala dinner in Sydney. They are a unique opportunity to honour the achievements of companies and individuals within the Australian dental industry throughout the year.
Individuals and companies within the Australian dental industry can self-nominate for an award by addressing a range of criteria that are relevant to the particular category or categories they are entering. The submissions are then judged by a panel of independent industry judges with the impartiality, expertise and experience to make a considered decision. All nominees will benefit from entering the awards. Examining the process by which excellence can be achieved helps businesses identify key areas for improvement. In addition, entering the awards demonstrates to staff and clients that the business is committed to the pursuit of excellence.

During the awards dinner the ADIA National Vice President, Mr Mike Covey, remarked, "The awards highlight the symbiotic relationship that exists between dental professionals and the dental industry. Just as we need skilled dentists, technicians and other professionals to deliver quality oral healthcare services, the nation needs reputable suppliers of quality dental product and that these awards recognise industry achievement in this area."
