ADIA Medfin Australian Dental Industry Awards

The ADIA Medfin Australian Dental Industry Awards are hosted by the Australian Dental Industry Association (ADIA) to honour the achievements of companies and individuals within the Australian dental industry throughout the previous year.  They are an initiative of the Australian Dental Industry Association (ADIA) and were formally launched in October 2010 and presented at a gala dinner held at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre on 16 September 2011.

During the awards dinner the ADIA National President, Mr Daryn Bungey, remarked that the awards highlight the symbiotic relationship that exists between dental professionals and the dental industry. He said that just as we need skilled dentists, technicians and other professionals to deliver quality oral healthcare services, the nation needs reputable suppliers of quality dental product and that these awards recognise industry achievement in this area.

To ensure that the process was both robust and independent, the judging panel was Chaired by Mr Ian Crawford and included Mr Ian Hughes, Mr Keith Mentiplay and Mr Armin Roth, all ADIA Life Members. In commenting on the award entries, Mr Crawford remarked that in the inaugural year of the Australian dental industry awards it was pleasing that the calibre of the entries exceeded all expectations.
