ADIA-ISC Industry Skills Committee
The ADIA-ISC Industry Skills Committee reviews dental industry skills needs and works with private and public vocational education and training providers to address skills shortages in addition to oversight of the successful ADIA Introduction To Dentistry Course. The committee's responsibilities include:
Identify current and future skills needs for the Australian dental industry;
Liaise with relevant Industry Skills Councils about the development of training packages
relevant to the Australian dental industry;
Review the capability of training providers to deliver industry-relevant training and, where a training gap
exists, encourage providers to deliver training courses;
Identify opportunities for ADIA to develop and provide training courses; and
Oversight of the ADIA Introduction To Dentistry Course.
Membership of of ADIA-ISC is open to any employee of an ADIA member company who is able to make a contribution to the work of the committee. The committee typically meets three times a year via teleconference and the dates can be found online at:
