ADIA Constitution & Governance

The Australian Dental Industry Association (ADIA) is a non-profit industry association owned by the dental industry.   Under the provisions of the ADIA Constitution, the Board is elected by, and accountable to, the Association’s membership. The Board of Directors acts on behalf of members in overseeing and governing the Association. The Board, in concert with senior staff, identifies the strategic direction not only for the Association, but also for the dental industry in Australia. The current membership of the ADIA Board is as follows:

Board meetings are attended by the President, Vice President, Immediate Past President, Directors and the Chief Executive Officer (*who attends meetings but is not a Director). In order to ensure that ADIA is governed in accordance with the requirements of the ADIA Constitution and has a strategic plan that meets the needs of its members, the Board supports a number of subcommittees.

The composition of the ADIA Board represents a balance of skills, knowledge and dental experience.
