The Australian Dental Industry Association (ADIA) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of ethical conduct and good industry practices.
The ADIA Code of Practice is intended to encourage the ethical, orderly, competent and lawful conduct of ADIA Members in the management of their business and to achieve the highest of industry standards of behaviour for the benefit of customers and consumers. The essence of the Code is that Members conduct their dental industry businesses with ethical diligence. A copy of the Code can be downloaded from:
The ADIA Code of Practice is administered by the ADIA Ethics Committee which comprises the Committee’s Chair, ADIA Federal President plus two other members appointed by the Board. The Committee may call on ‘expert’ advice as required. The ADIA Executive Officer shall provide the Secretariat function of the Committee.
Any person wishing to lodge a complaint must make it in writing and address it to the Chairman of the Ethics Committee and marked “Confidential”. Complaints shall outline the issues of complaint or non-compliance with the Code and include relevant supporting documentation.
