ADIA Projects — Dental Procurement
Ensuring that the framework in which consumers and government produce dental products and services is fair to all is an important policy priority for the Australian Dental Industry Association (ADIA) and its members.
In many instances the way that government procures services from the dental industry is unnecessarily complex and works to unnecessarily increase costs and decrease competition. ADIA does not believe this to be in the public interest thus involves itself in a number of projects designed to streamline the government procurement process. The projects include:
ADIA Dental industry procurement projects
GS1 Australia healthcare user group
NEHTA National product catalogue review
Consistent with ADIA's work to allow the dental industry be aware of and influence the commercial, technical and regulatory environment, ADIA encourages its members to get involved in the Association's decision making processes. The ADIA-IAC Industry Affairs Committee affords you the opportunity to play a leadership role and if you would like to join this committees please contact the ADIA national office.
ADIA’s response and ongoing input is being coordinated by the ADIA-DRC Dental Regulation Committee.
