Representing Dental Industry Excellence

ADIA Projects — Software & Electronic Health Records

One of the areas in which innovation is changing the way dentistry is practice is in the use of software.  Standards are currently under development by industry and government and the Australian Dental Industry Association (ADIA) plays a key role in ensuring that the Australian dental industry is a participant in the development of these standards.

The ADIA-SIG Software Interest Group brings together representatives of ADIA member companies with an interest in this area and the projects that they are currently reviewing include:

Software & Electronic Health Record Projects
   Personally controlled electronic health records
NeHTA Framework for software standards, protocols and infrastructure

Consistent with ADIA's work to allow the dental industry be aware of and influence the commercial, technical and regulatory environment, ADIA encourages its members to get involved in the Association's decision making processes.  The ADIA-SIG Software Interest Group affords your company the opportunity to play a leadership role and if you would like to join this committees please contact the ADIA national office.

ADIA’s response and ongoing input is being coordinated by the ADIA-DRC Dental Regulation Committee.
