The Australian Dental Industry Awards Winners 2020

The winners of the 2020 Australian Dental Industry Awards have now been announced and were contacted individually to let them know the news by ADIA CEO Kym De Britt.

An outstanding number of entries were received which resulted in healthy competition in each of the award categories. The winners are:

Bite Magazine Marketing Award Winner - Local Search For Dentists

This category recognises excellence in marketing by an ADIA member that has launched a successful marketing campaign or project. ADIA accepts a wide definition of marketing and submissions can relate to a specific product or whole-of-business campaign, rebrand, launch or anything else designed to drive changes in customer or public behaviour.

The finalists for the Bite Magazine Marketing Award were Modern Dental Pacific and Smile Right.

Innovation Award Winner - SmileStyler Pty Ltd

This category recognises ADIA members that have researched, designed and / or developed an innovative product, technology or service in Australia over the past three years and are now delivering that innovation either in Australia or internationally.

The finalists for the Innovation Award were Henry Schein One, Peak Hygiene Performance and Osteon Medical.

Sustainability Program Award Winner - Erskine Oral Care

This category recognises an ADIA member organisation's commitment and contribution to the environment.

The finalist for the Sustainability Program Award was Modern Dental Pacific.

Oral Health Partnership Award Winner - Henry Schein

This category recognises an ADIA business member that has partnered with an oral health organisation, institute or not-for-profit group on any dental-related project, including volunteer programs, that has benefitted either the Australian public, a specific community in Australia or overseas, or a specific demographic.

The Australian Dental Industry Association Award Winners 2020

Educational Initiative Award Winner - Cattani Australasia

This category recognises an ADIA member organisation that implemented a successful education, training or staff development initiative in the 2017 / 19 financial years. The initiative could be one that the nominee developed or purchased as an off-the-shelf program that they then customised to some extent.

The finalists for the Educational Initiative Award were Centaur Software and Henry Schein.

Community Service Award Winner - Henry Schein

This category recognises an ADIA member organisation's commitment and contribution to the wider community. Contributions do not need to be related to the dental sector, and can relate to donations, volunteering or participation in the areas of sport, religion, community health, education, environment, knowledge sharing, youth initiatives, poverty reduction, encouraging social inclusion, human rights, antidiscrimination and equality.

The finalist for the Community Service Award was Dentsply Sirona.

Service and Support Award Winner - Natalie Johnson, KaVo Kerr

This category recognises an individual who works for an ADIA member in a non-sales related area who has made an unmatched contribution through exemplary ongoing service that has resulted in high client satisfaction and increased revenue.

The finalist for the Service and Support Award was Joe Sanfilippo.

Outstanding Achiever Award Winner - Ashleigh Wheeler, GlaxoSmithKline

This category recognises an individual who works for an ADIA member who has embraced their role, contributed to their employer's success and made an unmatched contribution to the dental industry, resulting in the nominee becoming an excellent role model.

The finalists for the Outstanding Achiever Award were Ashley Heuchan, Emma Kakantonis and Ray Knight.

ADIA congratulates the winners in all categories and looks forward to celebrating with the winners in person.
