ADIA is the peak business organisation representing manufacturers and suppliers of dental products. Our vision is for an industry that empowers oral health professionals to advance the health and wellbeing of all Australians...................... — ADIA Strategic Plan

ADIA Strategic Affiliations —

As the peak business organisation representing suppliers of products and services to dental professionals, the Australian Dental Industry Association (ADIA) recognises the importance of collaboration. To this end, ADIA maintains affiliation with key umbrella organisations representing the interest of employers, product manufacturers and exporters.

A key role for ADIA is to foster the development of a global marketplace where manufacturers of quality dental products are free to export to markets where standards for healthcare products ensure public health and safety, while at the same time freeing industry from any unnecessary regulatory burden. To this end, ADIA supports two key organisations that focus on strengthening international trade.

Bilateral Trade Organisation Affiliations —

American Chamber of Commerce in Australia (AmCham)
Australia China Business Council (ACBC)

As can be expected for an organisation representing manufacturers and suppliers of dental product, ADIA maintains international affiliations with key international bodies in the sector that are set out below:

Dental Sector Affiliations —

Association of International Dental Manufacturers (IDM)
FDI World Dental Federation
US National Association of Dental Laboratories (NADL)

The ability of ADIA to deliver high-quality events including Australia's largest healthcare trade show ADX Sydney is due in no small part to our interaction with the bodies that provide industry leadership for the meetings, events and exhibition area.

Meetings & Events Sector Affiliations —

Exhibitions & Events Association of Australasia (EEAA)
International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IEAA)

Its ADIA's affiliation with these organisations that enables the Association to be at the forefront of not only the public policy debate, but in the delivery of initiatives that allow member businesses to grow, create jobs and operate sustainably.
