2016-20 Strategic Plan

As a result of careful stewardship and the support of a highly engaged membership, the Australian Dental Industry Association (ADIA) is better positioned than ever before to help the dental industry to grow, create jobs and operate sustainably. The direction set out in the 2016-20 ADIA Strategic Plan invigorates our work in this area. It sets a clearly defined direction for our suport that is summarised in the following statements:

Who We Are —

ADIA is the peak business organisation representing manufacturers and suppliers of products to oral health professionals.

Our Mission —

To help our members grow sustainable businesses through representation, promotion, information and education.

Our Vision —

An industry that empowers oral health professionals to advance the health and well-being of all Australians.

Over five years, our focus is on building the market for dental products, delivering great exhibitions, securing policy reforms from government and optimising member engagement. We will do this while preserving ADIA’s sound financial position. For further information, please review one of the five key priority areas:

ADIA Strategic Plan Priority Areas —

Priority 1: Invigorating Sustainable Businesses
Priority 2: Invigorating Promotional Platforms
Priority 3: Invigorating a Reform Agenda
Priority 4: Invigorating Member Engagement
Priority 5: Invigorating a Sustainable Organisation

At the heart of the 2016-20 ADIA Strategic Plan is an appreciation of the symbiotic relationship that exists between the dental industry and the dental profession. ADIA’s objective, therefore, is to create an environment in which the industry and the profession work collaboratively to build sustainable businesses as a result of a nation that makes a greater investment in its oral health.

ADIA provides leadership, strategy, advocacy and support. Our members set our agenda, funded our activities and directly benefited from the results.
