Australian Dental Industry Awards — Categories

The ADIA Australian Dental Industry Awards recognise dental industry excellence. They encourage member companies and industry professionals to excel in the achievement of their business and personal goals, and reward those who achieve outstanding results. The categories in this awards are as follows:

ADIA Dental Industry Leadership Award —

This award recognises corporate leadership embodied in the form of corporate accomplishments that reflect well on the dental industry thus encourage other companies to strive for greater success. The award may cover activities that include, but are not limited to: innovative product development, domestic or overseas market development; pioneering marketing campaigns; commitment to ADIA; and environmental sustainability.

ADIA Dental Industry Marketing Award —

This award recognises a business’ ability to engage with dental professionals and / or consumers via pioneering advertising or marketing activities. The winner will have achieved more than developed a innovative campaign that demonstrably increased sales, they will have set the benchmark that others wish to emulate. The business will be able to articulate what inspired the campaign, what made it different however in many respects the campaign will speak for itself.

ADIA Dental Industry Partnership Award —

This award recognises corporate success in building cooperative partnerships with dentists and allied oral healthcare professionals that reflect the truly symbiotic relationship that exists between the dental industry and dental professions. The award may cover activities that include, but are not limited to: supporting dental research; training of dental professionals, support for dental voluntary care programmes; and efforts to assist dental professionals in the uptake of new technology.

ADIA Dental Industry Professional Award —

This award recognises individual success in strengthening either an employee’s company or the entire dental industry thus encouraging other individuals to also be the best that they can be. The award may cover activities that include, but are not limited to: Mentoring new staff; Team leadership that solves a problem / develops a new product; Service to the industry / the association; Extraordinary sales success; and building relationships with key stakeholders.

ADIA President’s Award —

This award recognises corporate or individual accomplishments that set the winner apart from their contemporaries. Nominations are not open for this category, with eligible entries being the winners one of the above categories.

To ensure that the process is both robust and independent, the judging panel is chaired by and ADIA Life Member, Mr Ian Crawford, who is joined by a team of experts with the experience and integrity to ensure the dental industry's achievements are properly recognised.

Nominations for the 2016 ADIA Australian Dental Industry Awards can be submitted via the ADIA website in July 2016 and will be presented at a dinner held in conjunction with the 2016 ADIA National Conference.

Member Engagement —

ADIA provides leadership, strategy, advocacy and support. Our members set our agenda, fund our activities and directly benefit from the results. With respect to the ADIA Dental Industry Awards, members contribute to the success of this awards program providing advice and guidance to staff in the national office by serving on the ADIA-ARC Awards & Recognition Committee.
