He has served as both Vice President and President of the Australian Prosthodontic Society SA Branch, showcasing his leadership in the field.

For the past decade, Dr. Thomas has been a visiting Specialist at the University of Adelaide Dental School, where he shares his expertise with the next generation of dental professionals. He is a sought-after lecturer, speaking nationally and internationally on topics such as Dentures, Broken Teeth, Worn Teeth, Missing Teeth, Dental Implants, and Cosmetic Dentistry.
