For Suppliers — Your Partner in Business Growth

If your business supplies products and services to dental professionals and is looking to grow, create jobs and operate sustainably, then the Australian Dental Industry Association (ADIA) is your organisation.

ADIA doesn't sit apart from its member businesses but amongst them. This is something that is possible as we receive advice and guidance on the services we deliver and the policy positions we lobby for via employees of member businesses who serve on the ADIA Board, national committees, and who belong to special interest groups.

The major areas of activity are directed at supporting ADIA's member businesses and are set out below:

Policy advocacy —

A key role for ADIA is to bring member businesses together in order to allow them to understand and positively influence the commercial, technical and regulatory environment in which businesses within the dental industry work. On behalf of members, we engage the dental industry in the national policy debate to secure reform in areas including taxation, infrastructure, innovation, workplace relations, and therapeutic product regulation. Exhibitions and trade shows —

Businesses across the dental industry have a long tradition of providing dentists and allied oral healthcare professionals with the latest products and services that are offered at trade shows. To support these businesses, ADIA convenes its own events, supports the trade show at others, and also promotes those of interest to the membership. [Read More]

Export assistance —

A major focus of ADIA is to support local manufacturers looking to grow their business by accessing new markets and activities in these areas include advice on accessing grant programmes, participating in international trade shows and also tackling technical barriers to trade that can hinder product approvals. Small business assistance —

The advice and guidance that ADIA receives from its small business members have ensured our continued relevance to this vital sector. Indeed, many of the programmes and services offered by ADIA are focused on providing small business with the tools required for them to grow, create jobs and operate sustainably. [Read More]

As a member of ADIA, your business joins others that range in size from small family entities through to local operations of large, multinational therapeutic product suppliers. Our members share common aspirations for the growth of their business, the creation of jobs, and the financial sustainability of the dental industry. Naturally, they are bound by a universal commitment to the supply of quality dental products and services.

Member Engagement —

ADIA provides leadership, strategy, advocacy and support. Our members set our agenda, fund our activities and directly benefit from the results. With respect to the Association's work to support member businesses, the team in the ADIA national office receive advice and guidance from members serving on national committees, who belong to special interest groups and who attend ADIA State Branch Briefings.
