Member Engagement — State Branch Briefings

One of the great benefits that businesses derive from their membership of the Australian Dental Industry Association (ADIA) is the opportunity to attend briefings convened on a quarterly basis by the ADIA State Branches.

These briefings are exclusive to the ADIA membership and serve two key purposes. The first purpose is that they bring representatives of member businesses together to share ideas and exchange views then build new, and cement existing contacts across the industry. The second purpose is that they provide key insights into the factors that influence the commercial, technical, and regulatory environment in which the dental industry operates. The issues addressed at the ADIA State Branch briefings are set out below.

Stakeholder presentations —

From the leadership of organisations such as the Australian Dental Association (ADA) to the Australian Dental Prosthetists Association (ADPA) to university academics and government procurement specialists, at each branch briefing a guest speaker comes along to help you understand some of the key issues before stakeholders that influence the direction of Australia's dental industry.

Statistics overview —

If you have an interest in how the overall market is performing you are sure to enjoy the summary of data from key studies including the quarterly ADIA Dental Products Business Conditions Survey, the ADIA - Bite Magazine Dental Practice Business Conditions Survey, and the ADIA Dental Industry Intelligence Report. A new feature is the overview of the ADIA Dental Workforce In Numbers Report.

Government initiatives and policy briefing —

Hear from key staff within the ADIA national office who are experienced policy advocates and actively engaged in securing policy reforms that support businesses across the dental industry. It's also your opportunity to hear about key government initiatives including the Australian Government budget and spending on dental programs.

These briefings form an important part of ADIA's support for small businesses and its highly valued by members as the briefings provide the information and industry networking opportunities not available elsewhere. For more information on the briefings contact your local ADIA State Branch.

Member Engagement —.
The ADIA State Branch briefings are where many significant business deals had their genesis and, more importantly, where many long-lasting friendships have been formed. That is why they are a highly valued benefit of ADIA membership.

ADIA provides leadership, strategy, advocacy, and support. Our members set our agenda, fund our activities, and directly benefit from the results. With respect to member engagement at a local level, the ADIA staff receive advice and guidance from members who attend the briefings convened by the ADIA State Branches.
