Henry Schein Halas was presented with the Australian Dental Industry Partnership Award at an awards ceremony held on 24 March 2018 in Sydney.

Convened by the Australian Dental Industry Association (ADIA), the peak business organisation representing dental product manufacturers and suppliers, the Australian Dental Industry Partnership Award recognises the corporate success in building cooperative partnerships with dentists and allied oral healthcare professionals that reflect the truly symbiotic relationship that exists between the dental industry and dental professions.

“This was a strongly contested category which reflects the strong commitment that dental product suppliers have to strengthening relationships between dentists and allied oral healthcare professionals,” said Troy Williams, ADIA Chief Executive Officer.

Henry Schein Halas was recognised for its ongoing commitment to Youth With a Mission (YWAM) and its medical ships that host a dental outreach programme in Papua New Guinea. Since 2010, Henry Schein Halas has supported the programme with donations of dental consumables and equipment for the ship.

The Australian Dental Industry Partnership Award was one of a number of awards presented by ADIA in fields including marketing, innovation and business leadership. Award entries were assessed by a panel of independent judges with the experience and integrity to ensure the dental industry's achievements are properly recognised.

“In a year that ADIA received a record number of entries this recognition for Henry Schein Halas is a truly special achievement”, Mr Williams said.

Ends.
