ADIA Announces New State Presidents and Vice Presidents

The Australian Dental Industry Association (ADIA) is the peak business organisation representing manufacturers and suppliers of dental products and has elected a new state president for ADIA Victoria. Mr Tom Stray will serve a two-year term ending early 2021.

Mr Stray is the General Manager and Head of Sales at Dentalife Australia. Having started at Dentalife at 15 years old, Mr Stray has progressed through all areas of the manufacturing, warehousing, and operations processes. Upon his appointment, Mr Stray has spoken about the honour of being elected by his colleagues.

“Throughout my term, I look forward to working with colleagues from the dental industry as well as stakeholders to further the vision and mission of ADIA,” said Mr Stray.

Mr Adrian Atyimas, the National Sales Manager for Australia And New Zealand at SDI LTD, has been elected as the Vice President of the Victorian Branch. Mr Atyimas has spent over 25 years in the dental industry.

Ms Ashleigh Stanford of Ultradent Products Asia Pacific has stepped into the position of New South Wales President. Due to his commitments as a Director on the ADIA’s Board of Directors, Mr Ryan Green of William Green has decided to step down into the New South Wales Vice President position.

Ms Stanford is the Senior Sales and Marketing Manager – Africa and Oceania as well as the Marketing Manager – Asia Pacific for Ultradent Products Asia Pacific and has worked in the dental industry for almost 15 years.

ADIA CEO Kym De Britt spoke highly of the appointments of the new State Presidents and Vice President.

“ADIA’s Victorian and New South Wales Branches will be well served under the leadership of Mr Stray, Mr Atyimas, and Ms Stanford. ADIA is also very pleased to have Mr Green serving on the Board as a Director, as well as New South Wales Vice President,” said Mr De Britt.

Australia’s dental industry is responsible for around $2.263 billion in products and services supplied to dentists and allied oral healthcare professionals nationally. More than 95% of this economic activity is driven by ADIA member businesses.
