The winners of the 2018 Australian Dental Industry Awards were announced on 24 March 2018 at a gala dinner held in conjunction with ADX18 Sydney, Australia's premier dental event.

A record number of entries were received with each showcasing the ability of Australia's dental industry to empower oral health professionals to advance the health and well-being of all Australians.

ADIA Dental Industry Professional Award Winner

The ADIA Dental Industry Professional Award recognises individual success in strengthening either an employee’s company or the entire dental industry thus encouraging other individuals to also be the best that they can be. The award may cover activities that include, but are not limited to: Mentoring new staff; Team leadership that solves a problem / develops a new product; Service to the industry / the association; Extraordinary sales success; and building relationships with key stakeholders.

Ms Dean was recognised not only for her technical knowledge, but also her collaborative work with industry partners and demonstrated commitment to working with regulatory authorities and dental bodies to further their member’s education. [Read More]

The runner-up for the ADIA Dental Industry Professional Award was Ms Joanne Stanbury from OneDental.

The ADIA National President's Award was presented to My Dental Marketing.  This award recognises corporate or individual accomplishments that set the winner apart from their contemporaries and nominations were not open for this category, with eligible entries the winner from all categories that received the largest vote from the judging panel.

To ensure that the process is both robust and independent, the judging panel is chaired by an ADIA Life Member, Mr Ian Crawford, who is joined by a team of experts with the experience and integrity to ensure the dental industry's achievements are properly recognised.
