Henry Schein Halas Wins Dental Industry Partnership Award
26th Mar 18
The Australian Dental Industry Partnership Award was presented to Henry Schein Halas recognising its ongoing commitment to Youth With a Mission (YWAM) and its medical ships that host a dental outreach programme in Papua New Guinea.
Key Issues For The Dental Industry —
Convened by the Australian Dental Industry Association (ADIA), the peak business organisation representing dental product manufacturers and suppliers, the Australian Dental Industry Partnership Award recognises the corporate success in building cooperative partnerships with dentists and allied oral healthcare professionals that reflect the truly symbiotic relationship that exists between the dental industry and dental professions.
This was a strongly contested category which reflects the strong commitment that dental product suppliers have to strengthening relationships between dentists and allied oral healthcare professionals.
Henry Schein Halas was recognised for its ongoing commitment to Youth With a Mission (YWAM) and its medical ships that host a dental outreach programme in Papua New Guinea. Since 2010, Henry Schein Halas has supported the programme with donations of dental consumables and equipment for the ship.
The Australian Dental Industry Partnership Award was one of a number of awards presented by ADIA in fields including marketing, innovation and business leadership. Award entries were assessed by a panel of independent judges with the experience and integrity to ensure the dental industry's achievements are properly recognised.
In a year that ADIA received a record number of entries this recognition for Henry Schein Halas is a truly special achievement.
The dinner where the 2018 Australian Dental Industry Awards were presented was held on 24 March 2018 in conjunction with ADX18 Sydney, Australia's premier dental event, at the International Convention Centre Sydney.

As Senate Committee has accepted advice from ADIA that although the Australian Government has a strong track-record of reducing red-tape in the healthcare sector there remains considerable scope for continued reform.
