Statistics — Geospatial Market Data

.
Dental product manufacturers and suppliers have access to new insights into the changing nature of the market thanks to a pioneering geospatial data mapping tool published online by the Australian Dental Industry Association (ADIA).

When planning for their business growth, dental product manufacturers and suppliers often require high-quality data on the location of new and emerging business opportunities. That’s what makes the new geospatial market analysis tool so exciting.

Using the latest online geospatial mapping technology, ADIA members will have access to a map of Australia which allows them to identify the number of dental professionals by postcode.

Geospatial mapping data analysis ―

. Number of dentists in total and per 1,000 people
. Number of oral-maxillofacial surgeons in total and per 1,000 people
. Number of orthodontists in total and per 1,000 people
. Number of prosthetists in total and per 1,000 people
. Number of oral health therapists in total and per 1,000 people
. Number of dental health therapists in total and per 1,000 people

Provided to the industry in a geographical format for the first time, this tool will help business plan their marketing and sales activities more effectively than has been possible in the past. It eliminates the guesswork associated with focusing on-the-ground product marketing and promotional activities.

.
Access The Tool —
ADIA Dental Statistics Website Portal

To access the online tool user your ADIA Member Plus log-in details when visiting the dedicated Australian dental statistics website portal at:
www.dentalstatistics.org.au

.
Over the coming twelve months the tool will be expanded to allow dental product manufacturers and suppliers identify increases/decreases in each of these professional groupings, providing valuable insights into where new business opportunities exist. Further enhancements that are planned include the location of CBCT/CBVT digital imaging equipment and even the location of dental practices by postcode.

Member Engagement —

The market data and analysis tools developed by the Association are created thanks to the support and guidance from employees of member businesses serving on the ADIA-MSPC Market Statistics Projects Committee. Member updates are provided at the quarterly series of ADIA State Branch Briefings.
