As a postgraduate qualified human resources professional with over fifteen years experience, Shelly founded Nexus HR Consulting to provide accessible, practical HR support to small to medium-sized businesses. Her experience is impressive and includes working with RACQ as their Head of Human Resources Operations and also the Human Resources and Training Manager at Accor.

Keynote Speaker Nathan Bush — 12HIGH

Recognised nationally as a specialist in digital, eCommerce and marketing, Nathan is passionate about bringing strategy to life quickly. In April 2018, he launched 12HIGH to help organisations develop and activate their strategy. His expertise draws upon his experience as Group Digital Manager at the Super Retail Group which incorporates brands including Supercheap Auto, rebel, BCF,and Ray's Outdoors.

.Panelist Dr Daryl Holmes OBE — 1300SMILES

Dr. Holmes is the founder and now Managing Director of 1300SMILES Limited, the only ASX-listed dental group in Australia. He is a qualified Dentist and during the last two years of his five year degree he accepted a scholarship with the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF), then upon completion of his degree he practised dentistry as a RAAF Dental Officer (1988-91).

.Speaker Demetri Hughes — 1Up Communications

With a passion for supporting a business transform its approach to branding, marketing and crisis management, Demetri is the Managing Director of 1Up Communications. He's the current Queensland Chair of the Australian Marketing Institute and serves on the Industry Academic Advisory Board (Marketing Cluster) at the Business School within the University of Queensland.

.Speaker Dai Le — DAWN

Named one of AFR's Top 100 Influential Women in Australia, Dai has two decades of storytelling skills and experience working within mainstream institutions. Dai founded DAWN, a boutique agency that drives the conversation to shift leadership representations across mainstream organisations. Her experience encompasses time as a producer and reporter with the ABC and SBS plus as an advisor to senior federal politicians.

.Speaker Dr Hamish Mclean — Griffith University

A Senior Lecturer in Crisis and Disaster Management at Griffith University, Hamish has 30 years’ professional experience in crisis communication, reputation management and issues management. He operated a crisis and media consultancy for more than a decade with international clients in the education, health and aviation sectors. His most recent international project was crisis leadership for the Ministry of Health in Mongolia.

.Speaker Troy Williams — Australian Dental Industry Association

Appointed ADIA Chief Executive Officer in 2010, Troy has overall management responsibility and works with the ADIA National Office team responsible for delivering world-class exhibitions and achieving legislative reform. He serves as the dental industry's representative on several government and consultative forums and is a frequent speaker on matters associated with not-for-profit governance and stakeholder engagement.
