At last night's Annual General Meeting, the Australian Dental Association (ADA) announced Dr Scott Davis as the new Federal President, stepping up from Vice President.

ADIA would like to warmly welcome Dr Davis to the role. Dr Davis has a long history of involvement with and service to ADA and is well placed to lead the association.

We would also like to extend our sincere congratulations to Dr Stephen Liew on completing a successful term as ADA Federal President. His time in the role has included the delivery of FDI World Congress and providing evidence to the Senate Select Committee Inquiry into the Provision of and Access to Dental Services in Australia.

L-R: Outgoing ADA Federal President Dr Stephen Liew, ADIA President Ryan Green, incoming ADA Federal President Dr Scott Davis in Sydney last week.

In line with this, I am pleased to report that last week, ADIA President Ryan Green had a productive meeting with the ADA Federal Council including both Dr Liew and Dr Davis (pictured below). These meetings are crucial in fostering a strong, cooperative relationship between our associations. We are optimistic about the future and look forward to continued collaboration under Dr Davis’ guidance.

Kind regards,

Kym De Britt
