Advocacy
A considered, non-partisan approach that supports growth, jobs and patient safety. ADIA engages with departmental leaders and Parliament at state and federal levels, positioning the dental industry as a trusted source of evidence-based advice.
ADIA is recognised across industry associations, dental professional groups, the broader healthcare sector and government as the peak body representing manufacturers and suppliers of quality dental products. Guided by our Strategic Plan, we build relationships that share information, skills and experience with a diverse range of external stakeholders.
ADIA runs a quarterly forum on regulatory and technical matters for employees of member businesses. It provides an opportunity to give feedback on Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) consultations, hear updates on recent developments, and raise other regulatory or policy issues directly with the ADIA team.
ADIA is recognised at parliamentary and departmental levels as a source of sound policy advice on matters affecting the dental industry — positioning us to advocate effectively when invited by government to review reforms of interest to the sector.
