Applications Open for the 2027 ADIA Women in Dentistry Scholarship

Applications are now open for the 2027 ADIA Women in Dentistry Scholarship, supporting the career progression and professional development of women working across the Australian dental industry.

Established as part of ADIA’s Women in Dentistry program, the Scholarship provides an opportunity for an eligible woman from an ADIA member company to further develop her leadership, management and governance capabilities.

What the Scholarship Includes

The 2027 Scholarship recipient can choose from one of two professional development opportunities:

• Australian Institute of Company Directors: enrolment in the AICD Company Directors Course™ plus a one-year AICD membership.
• AGSM General Manager Course: full enrolment in the one-week residential program.

Who Can Apply?

Applications are open to women employed by, or who own, an ADIA member company for a minimum of 12 months prior to Scholarship application. Applicants will also need an endorsement from their CEO or company leader.

Key Dates

• Applications open: Monday, 5 October 2026
• Applications close: Friday, 18 December 2026
• Shortlisted applicants notified: by Friday, 29 January 2027
• Interviews: 1-15 February 2027
• Scholarship recipient announced: Tuesday, 30 March 2027
