Policy Statements

As the peak business association representing manufacturers and suppliers of products and services to dental professionals, the Australian Dental Industry Association (ADIA) is a strong advocate for reforms that will allow member businesses to grow, create jobs and operate sustainably.

The dental industry comprises businesses that range in size from small family entities through to local operations of large, multinational therapeutic product suppliers. They share common aspirations for the growth of their business, the creation of jobs and the financial sustainability of the dental industry. Naturally, they are bound by a universal commitment to the supply of quality dental products and services. To excel, these businesses will benefit from a reduction in red tape and a relaxation of restrictions that limit flexibility and innovation.

In the past, ADIA has produced a variety of policy statements and submissions in response to questions of the day. While advocacy continues today, approaches and methods change over time. Now advocacy is more specific and agile, and policy statements are less frequently issued.
