2016-20 Strategic Plan — Invigorating A Reform Agenda
The focus of Australian Dental Industry Association (ADIA) is on using its respected position amongst parliamentary and departmental stakeholders to create an environment where businesses can grow, create jobs and operate sustainably.
ADIA will combine the excellent contacts and negotiating expertise of our staff with the practical experience of member businesses to invigorate the policy debate. Our goal is for government to create an environment that fosters business innovation.
A result of the direction set in the 2016-20 ADIA Strategic Plan, ADIA's work will be directed towards:
ADIA Strategic Plan Priority 3: Invigorating a reform agenda
- Reducing the compliance burden for businesses that manufacture and supply dental and oral healthcare products.
- Cutting the red tape associated with business administration and job creation.
- Ensuring corporate taxation does not affect the sustainability of businesses and that tax policy encourages innovation and development of new products.
- Create an international level playing field where Australian manufacturers can reach global markets and importers do not face unnecessary trade barriers.
The work of ADIA in this area is designed to help achieve our vision of an industry that empowers oral health professionals to advance the health and well-being of all Australians.
ADIA provides leadership, strategy, advocacy and support. Our members set our agenda, funded our activities and directly benefit from the results.Further Information
