The Australian Dental Industry Association (ADIA) is proud to support the Australian Dental Research Foundation (ADRF), the nation's peak non-government body funding research into dental and oral healthcare, by managing the sale and distribution of its primary source of funding, the ADRF appointment book.
The Australian Dental Research Foundation (ADRF) is a joint project of the Australian Dental Industry Association (ADIA) and the Australian Dental Association (ADA), to support research in dentistry for the purpose of improving the dental health of the community.
Established in 1970 on the initiative of an ADIA Federal President, Mr Colin Cormie OBE, the foundation was inspired by the American Fund for Dental Health and the new organisation became known as the Australian Dental Research Fund. The organisation was formally incorporated in 1983 and in 1996 the new name of the Australian Dental Research Foundation was adopted.
